Iron Ore Project, Pilbara, Western Australia

01     Early-stage exploration

Bulk commodity potential

The Western Shaw Iron Ore Project is focused on a significant Banded Iron Formation (BIF) unit extending over 8 km within QXR’s tenements. Recent and historical exploration has highlighted the potential for Direct Shipping Ore (DSO)-grade iron mineralisation at surface.
Location:
Pilbara, Western Australia
Commodity:
Iron Ore - Banded Iron Formation (BIF) extends over 8km within the project area.
Project Size:
~100,000 hectares
Licences:
E45/6107 and E45/4960
Status:
Early-stage exploration with historical and recent rock chip sampling; new sampling program planned.
02     Historical Exploration:

Enriched surface zones identified.

Prior exploration by Atlas Iron identified high-grade iron potential but was not fully developed (15+ years ago) with reported rock chip results up to 62.3% Fe.

QXR has recently reassessed the area’s iron ore potential, identifying enriched surface zones.

03     Project Strategy
A new sampling program is planned.

Prioritising drill targets.

The Western Shaw Iron Ore Project will be advanced through a farm-out agreement with partners, Nightrise Nominees Pty Ltd and Kalkam Pty Ltd, holding a 75% interest while QXR retains a 25% free-carried stake to decision-to-mine and securing royalties on production. The strategy prioritises rapid, low-cost exploration with a $1M program over 12 months, starting with 250m-spaced rock chip sampling and costeaning to define drill targets across the 8km BIF outcrop. This partnership leverages QXR’s experienced partner operators to unlock project potential while minimising capital risk for the company.
QX Resources strategy is built on unlocking high-value energy and battery minerals to power the globe.
